The Community Leadership Program is a county-based cohort series of twelve, three-hour, in-person workshops for emerging leaders who want to get more involved in serving their community to improve the quality of life for all. Half of the sessions focus on skill development and are facilitated by trained Extension educators on topics like conflict management, effective meetings, and interpersonal communication. The other half are coordinated by the local host and steering committee and focus on quality of life themes as they relate to the local context, such as health, education, and economic development.
